King: The Montreux Years celebrates the extraordinary live legacy of the King of the Blues through rare and unreleased recordings from his historic Montreux Jazz Festival appearances between 1982 and 2000. Drawing on nine of King’s 23 festival performances, the collection captures his unmistakable voice, masterful guitar playing and enduring charisma. All recordings have been meticulously restored and newly mastered from the original tapes by Tony Cousins at Metropolis Studio in London. The album features unseen photography and new sleeve notes by award-winning writer and B.B. King biographer biographer Daniel de Visé. Available on 2LP and 2CD.
