The azulejos, these painted earthenware tiles, which decorate the cities of the Iberian Peninsula and as far as the towers of Sao Paulo, were imported into Spain by Muslim potters, notably in Cordoba. This long history of craftsmanship is reinterpreted by Ignasi Monreal, a young illustrator based in Madrid. His poster comes in three distinct colours and music playback symbols. Monreal became known for his fashion illustrations, his brush and iPad paintings, and his illustrations for rising pop stars such as Christine and the Queens.
