Bernhard Luginb\u00fchl was one of the leading Swiss artists in the second half of the 20th century. He produced huge sculptures in metal and wood, along with numerous engravings and drawings, including the poster for the 24th Festival. His works, sometimes very imposing and not short of humour, are often associated with those of Jean Tinguely, himself the author of the Festival poster in 1982, with whom he shares a long friendship and a deep artistic complicity.<\/p>\n
