Personal data gathering

Personal data is only gathered when an account is created on www.montreuxjazzshop.com. However, it is possible to purchase articles without creating an account. In this case, clients’ personal data is not stored in the database.

Use of personal data

Personal data is only used for the execution of services offered by www.montreuxjazzshop.com: order, delivery and the communication of information on special offers. Personal data (Montreux Jazz Shop personal account) is stored indefinitely and cannot be deleted manually by the user.

Modification of personal data

Any person who has created an account has the right to access, correct or delete the data concerning him or her contained and processed in the database. To delete this account, the user must write an email to the website administrator (info@jazzshop.ch) so it can be deleted manually.

Confidentiality and data protection

All clients’ personal data is dealt with confidentially and is not passed on or made accessible to third parties by the Montreux Jazz Festival Foundation. Data such as name, address, email address, item, price, quantity, credit card company, credit card number and expiry date, as well as all other data given by the client, is entered, processed and used in the respect of the provisions of the law on data protection for order processing and client follow-up.

Payment 

All online credit card payments are transmitted via a secure server. The information entered (notably the credit card number and date of validity) is encoded and does not circulate unencoded on the Internet.
